Hurray !!! It’s our Day

Another day of fun and frolic at DPS Kurukshetra! To have a chill-pill away from daily routine studies, we organized a fun-filled overnight camp in our spacious campus. Honorable director Mr. Ravinder Singla officially opened the Bonanza pack of fun by releasing balloons. He wished the kids a day full of enjoyment along under guidance of their learned team of teachers. There was arrangement of camping with Dome & Alpine tents. Adventure games like artificial wall climbing, commando net, Burma bridge attracted children the most. Many of them were found having fun in treasure hunt. Skilled kids of DPS Kurukshetra hit bull’s eye in air rifle shooting and archery. Little angles enjoyed ball jumping, boxing base, Mickey Mouse & Bungee trampoline at their prime. DJ floor was always occupied by many of our young hoofers filled with enthusiasm. Flying fox was the most thrilling as a person has to travel about 120 feet in air through a rope bracket. The school director Mrs. Anju Singla encouraged kids to enjoy the day. She said that these kind of events are necessary to refresh children out of their monotonous routine life. But, it’s true to say that we don’t miss our lessons on any day. There was a workshop on ‘Robotics and Practical Education’ in our auditorium from ‘Robospecies Technologies’. the kids were taught about the basics of Robotic science and they got a chance to develop a robotic project on the spot. ‘The Indian Doraemon’ and ‘Serving Robot’ were the centre of attraction for all. Having meals together is always a matter of joy for us. Children were seen munching lunch & dinner in groups. In the evening, Bonfire was a chance to see the other face of their personality. At night, Storytelling, DJ Dance, fun games & puzzles – riddles added to the glory of the event. After a complete day and evening of rocking amusement, they went to their cozy beds. Bright morning brought new sparkles of life, dreams, hopes and success. The event came to an end with the distribution of gifts to each student as a token of our love towards them. It will help us reminisce memories of the camp. Respected Principal Mrs. Shashi Ailawadi said that children learn the sense of sportsmanship, togetherness & understanding gets exposure in these kind of events. She participated in most of kids’ activities and boosted their confidence and morale. Overall, the event was a chance to learn & fun altogether. Students will definitely wait for the another one like this.
