Glimpses Of Night Camp
An overnight camp is a place for kids to be themselves while making friends and trying out new experiences. A primary advantage of overnight camp is that kids have more time to adjust their surroundings and get comfortable while having the learning and growing they go through a range of recreational activities throughout the day.
Keeping in view the importance of camps, Delhi Public School, Kurukshetra organized an overnight camp for classes 3rd to 8th on 24th and 25th November,2018.This camp was organized under the guidance of our esteemed Director/Principal Mr. D.K. Tyagi and highly appreciated by our prestigious Managing Director Mr. Ravinder Singla. The presence of Mrs. Anju Singla added more charm to the camp. She motivated the kids and gave her blessings to them.
195 students of Delhi Public School had a great time of their lives when they participated in an Overnight Skill Enhancement Camp at the school campus on November 24 & 25,2018. The camp kick started by the promptly arrival of the enthusiastic students and their equally enthusiastic parents at 8:30 a.m. Seeing the 7 year olds confidently entering the Atrium with their luggage was a sight to behold. There were few tears when they bid goodbye to their parents. The Principal of the school and staff presented a warm welcome to all the Tiny Tots. After having a cup of tea and snacks with the Principal Sir, all the campers reached to the activity Paradise and enjoyed the numerous activities and games like Rollball,Burma Bridge, Tyre Wall, Tug of War, Archery, Bungee Jumping etc. After lunch the students relaxed for a while . The afternoon siesta was followed by various mind blowing activities .The Ropeway Trail and Roll Ball were the centre of attraction through out the day. In the evening Principal Sir and MD Madam Mrs. Anju Singla added warmth in the cool evening not only by lighting the bonfire but also their loving and gracious presence on The Dance Floor. They freely mingled with students and tapped their feet on the musical notes with students .Mr. Ravinder Singla,Managing Director of school sent his good wishes to the students. The camp concluded on the morning of November 25th with an exercise and yoga session followed by a healthy and mouth watering breakfast.
